Big changes are coming to my blog! The last few months I've been working with a sensational team of people, working towards creating something really special - a new network of Australian bloggers, called FELLT. What does this mean? Well for one my blog is going to look a whole lot cooler - it also means my platform will also feature my fellow bloggers and close friends Nicole (Gary Pepper Vintage), Mandy (Oracle Fox), Sara (Harper and Harley), Margaret (Shine By Three), Yenny (Studded Hearts) and Connie (KisforKani). This is the beginning of great things for all of us and I've got loads of exciting projects coming up in the near future and I'm looking forward to creating better content - and alot of it!
Hoping you'll all love joining me and my new blogging family at because we have loads of fabulous content to offer. The countdown to Monday is on - see you there!

UPDATE! The FELLT family now includes the incredibly talented and gorgeous Jess Stein (Tuula). The circle is complete!

Miss Shop Blogger Project II

I'm delighted to share my pictures from my shoot for the Miss Shop Blogger Project, a collaboration between Aussie retail super-chain Myer and The project featured some of the best and brightest Aussie bloggers including Jess of Tuula, Nicole of GaryPepper, Sara of Harper&Harley, Mandy of Oracle Fox, Margaret of ShinebyThree and of course international guest, Rumi Neely of Fashiontoast.
I was so lucky to have finally had the opportunity to work with photographer Akila Berjaoui  and incredibly talented H&M artists Sina Velke and Rachel Brook.
Below is a video of me posing up a storm and talking about the shoot and the state of fashion blogging in Oz at the moment... why am I screwing up my face so much!? I always get nervous in front of a video camera, time to get practising in front of a mirror I think...

Something Else by Natalie Wood

Quite possibly the coolest bomber made (and now own!) and a lookbook featuring none other than the coolest mod around, Julia Nobis, makes Something Else by Natalie Wood a new favourite of mine. Effortless and edgy - I love everything from this collection!

Self Portrait 12

This is a post that has been requested by a fellow photographer and someone who's work I've followed for a number of years, the extremely talented She Is Frank. Those who have been reading my blog since around it's inception would know that I've shot a number of these self portrait style images and they have mostly just been my experiments with photoshop - this is how I taught myself to edit! The last self portrait I shot was in May 2010 using a projector here.
Anyway, please don't expect alot of these because I'd much rather be behind the lens than in front of it... Still, hope you like! I received this incredible Fleur Wood silk blouse in the post yesterday and while prancing around my apartment this afternoon I spied a nice piece of light spilling onto my balcony and decided to hop to it.
Check out She Is Frank's blog to scope some incredibly punchy and original editorials with loads of personality. I love how this girl is really paving her own way.

top, Fleur Wood

Casual Sunday

Just back from seeing The Hunger Games with friends, after buying the book on my kindle simply because it was cheap I became so hooked on the story. It's a really easy read and a great concept - and the movie was great! Jennifer Lawrence is such a babe and don't even get me started on Liam Hemsworth! Swoon.
I'm really revelling in this cooler weather,  I can finally wear a leather jacket and jeans. Winter dressing is so much more fun than summer.
I'm really going to struggle this week to post everyday - and I've done so well so far! I'm packing up my whole apartment to move to WA. Very bittersweet, I don't really want to leave Sydney but it will be great to live in the same state as my family again. I'm planning on travelling for most of this year so hopefully I can feature some interesting content from around the world... now I just gotta earn those airline tickets!

Blue Daze

Feeling a little seedy today after a great night out with my girls Jess and Nicole, I'm really glad I managed to get this outfit shot yesterday because I'm really not up for it today!
I wore this while hanging out and shooting the behind the scenes for the final Miss Shop Blogger Project shoot - I'm in love with these shorts! Its always nice to feel like you're wearing your pyjamas to work. Still feeling mixed prints, again I'm going with the muted tones and double floral! I like that despite the pretty prints this look isn't really girly.
My hair has stained pink from using Kevin Murphy purple Colour Bug  - the pic below is how it looked before I washed it out. Such a fun product! Though I hope for my upcoming modelling gigs that it washes out soon.

Summer Lovin'

Grease will always be one of my all time favourite movies. I was introduced to it so long ago I had no idea what Rizzo was really meaning when she sang 'There Are Worse Things I Could Do' but I definitely knew all the lyrics. This outfit reminds me of something one of the Pink Ladies might wear with a little Americana  thrown in there - and incidently, a bit of Canadian Pride. My Grandfather was born in Vancouver was sent this commemorative shirt from by family  during the 76' Olympic Games. Its clearly made from non-biodegradable material to have lasted so long in such good condition!
I decided the heels I wore with this outfit didn't work so I cropped them out. It happens.

Tune Time

Some music I'm loving this week.

Harper and Harley x 3

Scored a photoshoot with the delightful Sara of Harper and Harley, this girl has the most incredible face! We teamed up for a little project for the Harpers Bazaar Style Network, where Sara gives a lesson on styling variations.

Del Rey Today

No doubt this video will be posted ALL over the blogosphere but its just so incredible I have to post it on my blog for myself. Utterly stunning. Very Hedi Slimane.

I've also snapped an outfit post for the super-talented Jess on her blog, she the rest HERE.  She is ROCKING that suit and she's wearing my Wang! It actually looks so good on her I should give it away.

The Girl and The Sea

Wearing:   1/ Scanlan & Theodore dress   2/ Lover top   3/ Ellery top and skirt   4/ camilla and marc jacket   5/ Ellery dress   6/ Ellery top and skirt   7/ Lover top and shorts   8/ Michael Lo Sordo dressPink Lou Lou jewellery worn throughout.

I'm so pleased to present my latest blogger collaboration with Aussie babe, the very ethereal Miss Jessica Stein aka Tuula. While we certainly scored some great weather for this shoot, the most challenging aspect was the hair wrangling - as you can see in most of these images the wind was really blustering! Jess makes for a very talented model and dealt with my wacky and extremely animated explanations for posing very well. A sweet discovery - Jess was a dancer when she was a young'n so I made sure to take advantage of her skills swaying about in the wind. She did a stellar job of the styling... now considering an over spend at Scanlan and Theodore... though I don't think I would cut such an amazing figure in the same garment - Jess is WOW!

Mixed Media

And another sunday over... so sad! Looking forward to an exciting week, working on a special project with my girls Nicole, Sara and Margaret. Can't wait to share!
Jumping on the mixed print bandwagon today, opting to mix with muted tones and adding in a leopard print bag just for good measure.

LMFF, Harpers Bazaar

The second show I attended for LMFF was the Harpers Bazaar runway show and I love love love these hair do's created by L'Oreal Proffessionnel Hair Director, Brad Ngata. Unfortunately I'm suffering from the a bad cold and experiencing a bit of brain fog so I won't rant further other than to say - don't these girls look utterly gorgeous in this look!

Style Network LMFF

A little preview of my recent post for Harpers Bazaar Style Network...

Presently hanging out in Melbourne where I've been lucky enough to attend the Harpers Bazaar runway show which featured designers like Camilla and Marc, Scanlan and Theodore, Alex Perry, Colette Dinnigan and Toni Maticevski. The slick Chanel inspired do's were the product of hair styling wiz Brad Ngata of L'Oreal Proffessionnel.

My favourite part of the look was where the models had a solitary pearl in one ear and then those who had piercing in their upper ears had two. It really gave the look some edge. Great to see some stunning new girls strutting their stuff among the seasoned pro's, some incredible new faces about that I would absolutely love to line up in my lens!
