The second test at Sydney park with Vanya from Priscillas. I was pretty exhausted at this stage, the light was fading and we had to continually stop for the rain - still, it was all worth it for that first shot dark profile shot.

anon: Thanks so much! I think that pictures are beautiful where the subject appears to be unaware of being photographed - or perhaps like they've only just glanced at the photographer.

Yeah - these shots are pretty awesome. The lighting that you got along the bridge of the nose/forehead and top of the lip is amazing. (1st one)
And, this girl is a STUNNER! wow - the more you look at her, the more she grows on you. I hope she goes far!

yeah i liked precious but overall i felt that they ignored the problem she had with her father raping her. to me that seemed like the biggest issue for her and i didn't feel like it was dealt with much. idk. either way, the whole thing was very moving.
&i keep saying this but i really admire your photographic skill. i see a very clear aesthetic coming through.
